About the Author
Renata is the recipient of the Lena Todd Award (2025) for her CNF piece ‘Chasing Graveyards’. She has been published in several lit mags including: Scribendi, Conceptions Southwest, and Blue Mesa Review. She has also been featured in Spectra gallery for her collage work.
She writes poetry, creative nonfiction, and very, very short fiction when she’s feeling crazy.
Born and raised in the desert of New Mexico, Renata appreciates things like electric pink Cholla cacti blooms, tacky pin-up polkadot attire, and cowboys on the run…
from herself, of course.
